Get ready for the Greater Manchester Recruitment Campaign

As part of the Regional Care Cooperative Pathfinder, Greater Manchester Combined Authorities have funded a major paid social media campaign to promote careers in residential childcare and support recruitment efforts in the region.

This campaign will build on the success of our initial #IfYouCareYouCan Residential Childcare Careers campaign, featuring some fantastic new film content developed with residential childcare practitioners and managers from a range of organisations in the region.

When the campaign launches, this content and assets will be used to target specific audiences on social media, encouraging new interest in residential childcare roles among audiences with relevant interests and transferrable skills, and raising the profile of this important sector across Greater Manchester as a whole.

Visitors will be directed to a landing page with film content and key information to help them learn about residential childcare careers, the qualities they need, and the career steps they can take. They will also be directed to the Residential Childcare Careers job board to explore roles, search and apply for jobs. That's why it's very important that all our members ensure their vacancies are posted on the job board!

If you are a provider in Greater Manchester, ACT NOW to benefit from this campaign by posting your vacancies on the campaign job board (there is no cost, and it's quick and easy).

  • Simply create your Employer Profile to get started, and contact us if you need any support. You can also read the guidance here to you get set up and posting jobs.

Also remember, the job board is not only for members in Greater Manchester - all members can post unlimited jobs for free, so if you haven't started using it already, now's the time to get involved as we continue our work to raise awareness!

If you are a provider in Greater Manchester but not a member of The Children's Homes Association, please contact us to find out how you can also get involved.
