Conference highlights + 2025 dates announced!
CHA's 2024 Conference at The British Library in July this year was a truly unforgettable day, one that reminded us all how invaluable such opportunities to gather in-person as a sector really are and for the first time provided a platform for our sector to hear from government, engage in conversation with Ofsted, and also focus on child-centred practice with inspiring sessions from internationally renowned experts and care-experienced Dr Emma Woodward and Steven Russell.
We were delighted to receive incredible feedback after the event and many requests for an even bigger and broader event next year. We'd also like to again thank Justin Russell, Director General for Families, Sir Martyn Oliver and Yvette Stanley from Ofsted, Dr Emma Woodward and Steven Russell of Elements Support CiC for joining us in creating a highly informative and inspiring day.
We can now confirm that CHA's 2025 Conference will be our first ever 2-day event, packed with quality speakers and dedicated to residential childcare practice, policy and professional excellence. This will be a unique opportunity for our members and colleagues in the residential childcare sector to take time out to learn, share, reflect and leave inspired and informed.
The venue will be The Belfry Hotel & Resort, Sutton Coldfield, with accommodation available on-site, excellent food, evening entertainment, free spa access and much more time for attendees to socialise, reflect and network with like-minded professionals.
More details including ticket pricing and a full agenda will follow. But for now, make sure you save the date!
