Speakers Confirmed for the CHA’s 2024 Residential Childcare Conference

Speakers confirmed for CHA’s 2024 Conference on 18th July in London

This is The Children’s Homes Association’s biggest annual conference to date, covering all areas from policy and regulatory reform to practice as we share and discuss a much-needed future vision for residential childcare.

Connect and network with colleagues and join vital conversation about the issues our sector faces, including how we can further support children and young people with complex needs, who need us now more than ever.

Confirmed speakers at the event, which will take place at the British Library Theatre in London on 18th July, include:

Justin Russell, Director General for Families, DfE; Sir Martyn Oliver, His Majesty’s Chief Inspector, Ofsted; Yvette Stanley, National Director of Regulation and Social Care, Ofsted; Dr Emma Woodward, Trauma-informed innovator and TEDex speaker; and Steven Russell, Creative Champion for Children in Care.

Interim CEO of The CHA, Dr Mark Kerr, will also be speaking at the event. He said, “This is our most exciting conference to date and it is a first for The Children’s Homes Association to welcome such a powerful line-up of speakers to shape our discussions about the future of residential childcare and improving outcomes for our society’s most vulnerable children and young people’.
